Business As Usual

23 June 2020

It's been a challenging few months for everyone, but here at Sterling Machining we have managed to keep our production going, and to offer continued support to our customers and other stakeholders - some of whom are, or have been, involved in providing goods and services for essential sectors, such as health and defence.

From before the lockdown began, we had already formed a COVID 19 committee to enable us to make the right decisions and maintain a level of production that enabled us to ensure the safety of all staff, whilst still delivering products to our customers. We have endeavoured to keep up to date with government guidelines and are happy to declare ourselves 'COVID 19 compliant'.

In addition we have been able to add to our subcontract machining capacity with the purchase of 3 more machines, further progressed with the transfer of some capacity to our second site, and had a successful ISO9001 audit.

Now, as the nation begins to come out of the more stringent lockdown measures, we believe we will emerge much stronger as a business, and look forward to supporting customers old and new by satisfying their subcontract machining requirements.

For details of our capabilities please go to the 'Plant & Machinery' section. This has recently been updated to show the new additions to our machining capacity.
